Our archive has a robust “deep search” function that allows you to search for any word or phrase you wish. Our program will flag matches for you and display student success stories in our archive that match your search request.

You can search for students who have had experiences similar to yours, have attended community colleges in your state or region, are pursuing the same academic major as you, or who have confronted challenges similar to those you face.

You can search, for example, by academic major, country of origin, hometown, name of college, and so on.

You can also search by the key words that are supplied by the authors themselves. These include the following:

• International student
• Veteran
• Single parent
• Recent high school graduate
• Changing careers
• Retraining
• Returning adult student
• Not sure I even wanted to attend college
• Seeking direction
• Giving college a try

Please note that searches are not case sensitive.
